When you buy and sell cars , without actually transferring the car into my ownname, what process do l have to follow? Thank you for any advice

You are only regarded as a trader if you buy and sell-on, at least 6 vehicles in any 12 month period.

You get the vehicle Registration Document from the seller and they sign the tear off strip, Part 9 (Notification of Sale/Transfer to the Motor Trade). You then fill in your details, sign it and send it to DVLA at Swansea. You keep the main part of the original registration document until you sell the vehicle.
